Reviewing work before it is published (Pro and Complete)

How approval works, what to check before you say yes, and the difference between a correction and new work.

On Standard, we publish the work as soon as it clears our checks. If you want to see everything before the public does, choose Pro for $69, or Complete, which includes it. On both, nothing is published until you approve it.

How approval works

  1. Choose Pro or Complete in step 2 of the order form.
  2. We produce the work, and it passes our checks, including the automatic check for sales pages.
  3. It comes to you as a draft before publishing. For a sales page, what you review is the finished page, not a text file.
  4. You reply with your approval, or with what you want changed.
  5. Once you approve, we publish the work, and you receive the delivery report with the links.

With a pack, each piece waits for its own approval, so plan time for reviews: a piece you have not approved is not published.

What to check before you say yes

  • The number: open the draft on your phone and tap the call and WhatsApp buttons. Is it the number you want customers to use?
  • The facts: prices, call-out fees, the areas you cover, opening hours, licence details. You are responsible for the facts you give us, and this is your chance to confirm them before they go live.
  • The offer: its name, what is included, and any conditions or dates.
  • The next step: is the action the page asks for the one you want?
  • The tone: does it sound right for your customers?
  • For articles: the topic, the page the link points to, and the link text.

A correction or new work?

If the draft does not match the brief you confirmed, because of a wrong fact, the wrong tone, the wrong emphasis or a mistake on our side, we correct it at no charge. If you want something materially different from the brief, such as another offer, another audience or a new topic, that is new work with its own price. Either way, we tell you which of the two we think it is before we start.

What Pro adds besides approval

  • A tidy delivery summary, ready to forward to a partner, a manager or a client.
  • Faster publishing: if there is a queue, your order goes ahead of it.

When approval is worth it

  • The page will go on your own address, and you want to see it before it appears there.
  • A partner or a manager must sign off anything that is published.
  • Your field has rules about what you may say, as health, legal and financial services often do.
  • You resell the work, and your own client approves it.

And if you choose Standard?

The work goes live as soon as it clears our checks, and the links reach you in the delivery report. If you find something that does not match your brief, ask for a correction after delivery. See Changes and corrections after delivery.

A tip for a fast approval

Collect your notes in one reply, and say where each note belongs on the page or in the article. If a note changes a figure, send its source. One clear reply is the shortest way to publishing.
