How to order, and what to put in your brief

The steps of the order form, what a sales page needs from you, including the number visitors should use, and an illustrative brief.

Ordering takes a few minutes. You write your brief once, see the exact total, then pay on a secure hosted checkout.

Where to start

Open the page of the service you want: Sales pages, Blog articles or Dedicated blog. Each one has its own order form.

The steps of the form

  1. How much do you need? Choose a pack or a bundle. For a dedicated blog there is one option.
  2. How much do you want to see before it goes live? Standard, Pro or Complete, each with its price. See Service levels: Standard, Pro and Complete.
  3. Where do we send it? Your name and email are required. Your phone, business name, niche or industry and website are optional, but they help. For articles, you also choose where they are published: our blog network, or your own dedicated blog.
  4. Tell us about it. One box for what you sell, who buys it, the one action you want a visitor to take, and any facts, prices or claims we should use rather than guess. For a dedicated blog, write its name, the address you would like and its topics.
  5. Check the total and press "Review & pay".

What we need for a sales page

  • The one action. A call, a WhatsApp message, a form enquiry or a booking. The page is written backwards from it.
  • The number or link it uses. The phone number to call, your WhatsApp number with its country code, or your booking link. We only use numbers you give us. See Call, WhatsApp or a form: how visitors reach you.
  • The facts. Prices or how your pricing works, the areas you cover, your hours, licence and insurance details. We use what you write instead of guessing, and every figure on a sales page needs a source: usually you.
  • Where it should live. Your own address, a subdomain we provide, or our blog network. Not sure? Say so, and we recommend one. See Where is your work published?
  • Your logo and colours. Send them if you have them, or point us to your website. If you have no logo at all, say so.
  • What must not appear. Claims you cannot make, and competitors you do not want named.

If you do not have everything, send what you have. Anything missing that the page needs, we ask about or leave off. We never invent it.

What we need for articles

Topics, keywords, the page each article should link to and the link text, if you have them. Or send only your niche, and we plan the topics and keywords for you. Both cost the same, because the research happens either way.

An illustrative brief

An electrician covering three towns. One page for emergency call-outs. The action: a phone call to the number on our website, which is also on WhatsApp. Our call-out prices and licence number are on our site. Please do not promise arrival times.

Five things are enough: the business, the offer, the action and its number, where the facts come from, and what to avoid.

After you press "Review & pay"

Your order is saved, and you land on a confirmation page with what you ordered and the exact total. Pay there, or later from the same link in your confirmation email. To change anything first, reply to that email. Nothing is produced before payment clears.
