"Will this get me to the top of Google?" The honest answer is that nobody can promise that, and we will not. It is the one promise we refuse to make: a spot on page one. We sell the page, not the ranking.
What we do not guarantee
Section 11 of the Terms of Service is plain about it. We do not, and cannot, guarantee:
- A position in search results
- A particular amount of traffic
- That search engines will show your content at all
- Calls, enquiries or sales
- Any other commercial outcome
Search engines make their own decisions, and no supplier controls them. Be wary of anyone who promises you a position.
Why we do not promise calls either
A sales page is built to get the call: one offer, one clear action, and a button that is easy to tap. Whether a visitor calls still depends on your offer, your prices, your reputation and how many people see the page. We control the page, not the decision to pick up the phone.
What we commit to
We commit to the work itself. In the words of the Terms, we deliver the work described in your confirmed scope, produced to a professional standard and published as agreed. In practice, that means:
- Research into your offer, your buyers and the keywords before any writing
- An automatic check on every sales page before it can be published
- Contact details that come from you, never invented: the check stops placeholder numbers, and any WhatsApp button without a number
- The exact total before you pay, and nothing that renews automatically
- A delivery report with every link we published, so you can check each one yourself
Questions to ask anyone selling you SEO
- Do you promise me a ranking? If the answer is yes, ask how, and who controls it.
- What exactly will I receive, and where will it be published?
- Will I see the link to every piece you publish?
- Is there a subscription that renews automatically?
- Who owns the content after I pay?
The limits of our liability
Under the Terms of Service, and to the fullest extent the law allows:
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Judge the work yourself
Open every link in your delivery report, and tap every button on your pages. If something does not match your brief, we correct it: see Changes and corrections after delivery.
And if you want to see the work before you pay anything, the free start is available once for every website. See The free start: one page and one article, once per website.
