Sales page, articles or a dedicated blog: which one fits?

Three common situations, the service that fits each one, and when combining them helps.

Our three services solve three different problems. Start from the situation closest to yours, then decide whether you need one service or more.

Situation 1: people visit, but the phone does not ring

Your website looks fine and gets visits, but it describes the business and never asks for the job. There is no button to tap, or the number is buried at the bottom of the page.

What fits: a sales page. One page for one offer, built around the one action you want: a call, a WhatsApp message, a form enquiry or a booking. We research your offer, your buyers and what your competitors promise, then write and design the page in your colours. It must pass an automatic check before it goes live.

One page means one offer, one audience and one action. Two different services, or the same service in two areas, work better as two pages, each with its own headline. That is what the page packs are for.

Illustrative examples, not client work:

  • A plumber: a page for blocked drains, with the phone number repeated and one tap away
  • A dental practice: a page for one treatment, with a WhatsApp button for questions
  • A landscaper: one page per service area, each asking for a quote

Situation 2: people ask questions before they call

How much will it cost? Can it wait until Monday? What is the difference between two options? People type questions like these into a search engine before they contact anyone.

What fits: blog articles. We plan the keywords first, write an original article that answers one question properly, and publish it on a blog in our network matched to your topic, or on your own dedicated blog. The article can link to your sales page or any page you name, with the link text you choose.

An article is $15, and packs of 3, 12 or 120 lower the price of each one.

Situation 3: you want your content in one place, under your name

What fits: a dedicated blog. Network articles are published on blogs we run. A dedicated blog is your own: your topic, your name and your address. We build it, host it for its first year and launch it with three articles, for $94. Later articles are ordered separately, whenever you like. Details are in The dedicated blog: the first year and after.

When to combine services

  • A page and articles. The page asks for the call. The articles answer the questions that come before it, and they link to the page. The bundles combine both at a lower price per piece.
  • A dedicated blog and an article pack. A blog needs a steady supply of articles, and a pack lowers the price of each one.

One question to decide

What is missing right now? If it is a clear way for a ready visitor to reach you, start with a sales page. If it is answers to the questions people ask first, start with articles. If you are building content for the long run under your own name, consider the dedicated blog.
